The Kia Electric Vehicle Experience Centre (EVEC) located in Vancouver, BC is the first dedicated EV educational facility for Kia in Canada. The EVEC exemplifies Kia's commitment to electrification and in educating consumers on future mobility solutions.

The Electric Vehicle Experience Centre is Kia Canada's first facility of its kind in Canada, dedicated to providing an experiential learning environment for electric transportation. The purpose of the EVEC is to:

• Educate the public on understanding the benefits of electric vehicles

• Provide a one-stop-destination to test drive a Kia EV

• To help drivers make the transition from a gasoline / diesel car to an electric car that suits their lifestyle

• To increase customer awareness on home and public charging options

• Understanding available government rebates and energy / fuel savings

Our eVisors focus on helping prospective EV drivers understand home charging installations and just how simple it is to use a charging station. Visitors will learn about the different types of chargers and the speed of charge that each charging level offers. Our eVisors will also educate visitors about public charging, the online tools that are available to make the transition to driving electric easy and how to use charging network trip planners.

The EVEC provides a hands-on interactive experience for all drivers wanting to learn more about electric vehicles. Visitors will get a personal guided tour with an eVisor highlighting: how electric car technology works, the environmental and economic benefits of electric cars, how to choose an electric vehicle charger, how to get a charging station installed at home, what government incentives are available and finally go for a test drive to experience the thrill of driving an EV.
